Bad news for tubers.

The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) says there are no current plans to increase flows from Canyon Dam over the Memorial Day weekend.

Nathan Pence, executive manager of Environmental Services, said GBRA only modifies flows under reservoir conditions and climatic conditions for water supply or other contractual reasons.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said GBRA calls the shots regarding flow rates this weekend.

On May 20, Tubing the Guadalupe River Facebook page said flows are approximately 25% of average.

The good news? Lots of sunshine and high temperatures are forecasted through the weekend.
