Janice Epps, president of The Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country, will discuss ‘Trackways and Beyond’ 6 p.m. Thursday at Tye Preston Memorial Library, 16311 S. Access Rd., Canyon Lake.

She’s the featured speaker at the monthly chapter meeting of the Lindheimer Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists.

Topics include the museum’s history and educational programs.

The nonprofit museum is dedicated to the collection, conservation, preservation and display of materials associated with the natural and cultural histories of the Hill Country.

The museum works to protect and preserve over 200 dinosaur footprints and 28 separate trackways made around 110 million years ago during the early Cretaceous period in the upper Glen Rose formation.
