Headed to JBSA Rec Park at Canyon Lake for Labor Day?

Staff advises guests to bring grills with lids because Comal County remains under a burn ban. No burning is allowed in fire rings.

Check-in is between 1 to 7 p.m. only. “Whole” parties staying overnight must be checked in by 7 p.m.

Guest lists must be emailed by 1 p.m. Thursday or guests will not be allowed to enter the park.

Beginning Sept. 6 JBSA returns to off-season hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Last entry is at 4 p.m. The park closes at 5 p.m.

Joint Base San Antonio Recreation Park at Canyon Lake is located at 698 Jacobs Creek Park Rd., Canyon Lake. Sunnyside and Hancock Cove access are for those with valid military/DOD identification cardholders only.
