Expect delays on the River Road as road construction gets underway between the second and third crossings.
Comal County’s Road Department will be “dressing shoulders,” completing failure repair work and paving the River Road through April 5.
Precinct 4 County Commissioner Jen Crownover warned residents to expect delays.
“All of these operations will entail one-way traffic control, so there will be an impact on traffic during working hours until we have completed paving,” she said. “I have requested that they be cognizant of Spring Break, weekend and Easter traffic.”
Today, crews prepared road shoulders for failure repair and paving operations. Shoulder work should be completed by week’s end. Work on failure repairs is expected to end on March 10.
Anticipated completion date for paving is April 5.
