NBPD Offers ‘Rape and Aggression Defense Class’ for Teens, Women in Comal, Guadalupe Counties

The New Braunfels Police Department (NBPD) offers a self-defense class for women of all ages from 6-9 p.m. June 13-16.

The free Rape and Aggression Defense (RAD) class features lectures, discussions and demonstrations of hands-on, self-defense techniques taught by certified police officers.

Applicants must be female; at least 13 years of age; reside in or attend school in Comal and Guadalupe counties (or work within New Braunfels city limits); be in good health; and capable of participating in physical training with minor exertion.

Attendance is mandatory for all four classes. Classes will be taught at police headquarters, 3030 West San Antonio, New Braunfels.
