The annual Noon Lions Fall Shrimpfest and Mega Raffle runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at the CRRC of Canyon Lake Rec Center, 125 Mabel Jones Dr.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $15 and can be purchased at the door or from any Lion.
The event is extremely popular — the Lions regularly sell over 600 meals. Desserts are available for an extra fee.
“There is nothing tastier than fresh-caught shrimp brought directly from our seafood distributor at the coast, packed in ice and boiled in our Lions’ special-recipe shrimp boil,” said Canyon Lake Noon Lion Tom Meyer, who is organizing the event.
Winners of the Mega Raffle will win four, $250 prizes.
