The Sixth Annual DAM Fine Car Show & Sunday Drive, a fundraiser for the Dam Community Alliance (DCA), runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 15 at Canyon Lake Dam.
DCA partners with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to help preserve the dam and surrounding parks. Proceeds benefit Canyon Lake parks and the community.
DAM Fine Car Show
The DAM Fine Car Show in North Park, 3210 N. Park Rd., is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. and features hot rods, muscle cars, classic cars, exotics, trucks, jeeps, modern cars and bikes.
Entrance fees are $20 per vehicle. Entries must be in place by 11 a.m.
General admission is $5.
The public is invited to enjoy food trucks and live music.
Sunday Drive
The Sunday Drive across Canyon Dam begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. It’s open to the general public. Tickets are $10 per vehicle. Line up at Overlook Park, 601 Corps of Engineers Rd., and drive across the dam to North Park.
“If you’ve ever walked the dam, you know how amazing it is,” said organizer and Canyon Lake Pct. 4 Commissioner Jen Crownover. “Experiencing it in a vehicle is completely different and magical. I hope you’ll try it out. I’ll be working the gate at Overlook — hope to see you Sunday.”
