Three people are in stable condition following a shooting Sunday in the 100 block of North Seguin Ave. by Main Plaza in downtown New Braunfels.
The alleged shooter, 25-year-old New Braunfels resident Josiah Anthony Arevalo, fled the scene but was later arrested by New Braunfels police officers.
He is in Comal County jail, charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
New Braunfels Police Department (NBPD) said in a statement that officers were called to the scene around 12:45 a.m. following multiple reports of gunshots.
They provided medical aid until New Braunfels Fire & EMS (NBFD) arrived.
A 25-year-old female, believed to be a bystander, and a 25-year-old male were transported to Ascension Seton Hays Hospital in Kyle for treatment.
A 27-year-old male was transported to Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio.
All three victims are from New Braunfels.

Police said a preliminary investigation indicates the two male victims were involved in a physical altercation with the suspect prior to the shooting.
Arevalo allegedly got in a car, located the men walking downtown, and fired several rounds from a handgun before driving away from the scene.
Investigators believe the two male victims were the intended targets.
Officers located Arevalo, who turned himself in.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be filed.
