Tickets are now available online for Canyon Lake High School’s (CLHS) annual Winter Wonderland Daddy Daughter Dance, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024.

The cost is $40 per couple via QR code through Jan. 10, $45 at the door and $5 per additional sibling.

The dance will be in the school’s cafeteria, 8555 FM 32, Fischer.

Local sponsors also are needed for the PTSA fundraiser. Sponsorship levels are $1,000 platinum, $500 gold, and $250 silver.

Sponsorship includes banner recognition, mention in a social media post, and sponsor posters located around the dance floor.

Money raised by the event funds over $8,000 in senior scholarships for eight to 10 CLHS students and over $5,000 in grants for 12 teachers.

Teachers use these grants to pay for items not covered by Comal ISD.

Examples include teacher trainings, reading corners, fun lab experiments and a trip to an observatory to view constellations.

So far this year, some of the funds raised at last year’s daddy dance have provided breathing apparatus teachers can use to safely administer CPR to students, breakfasts for staff, signs and ice cream for 500 honor roll students, brag signs for Hawk Drive, and candy for 160 Spanish classes celebrating Dias de los Muertos.

“We would truly appreciate your support this year,” said Shannon Anderson.
