The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) cut off controlled water releases from Canyon Lake dam today so it can perform its annual inspection of outlet works and conduit and flood-control gates.

River flows will be temporarily impacted because of a switchover from Guadalupe Blanco River Authority (GBRA) to USACE.

Conditions should return to normal on June 5.

For more information call USACE’s Canyon Lake office at 830-964-3341.
