Best place to see fireworks in Canyon Lake this Fourth of July holiday weekend?

The lake.

The Lodge at Turkey Cove’s famed Annual 4th of July Fireworks Display begins after dark on Saturday near Boat Ramp #2.

The lodge is located at 2386 Colleen Dr.

However…tickets are sold out. Access to the lodge is limited to family, guests of the hotel and close friends.

Best free views are from boats on the lake or lawn chairs on property/parks with clear view of the Independence Day celebration.

“The absolute best viewing is from out in the cove, so anchor away,” organizers said on social media. “We went a bit nuts this year so expect a good hour-long display.”

Live music runs from 8 p.m. to midnight.

New Braunfels’ Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular

The area’s biggest fireworks display begins at 9:15 p.m. Monday (July 4) at Landa Park in New Braunfels.

Patriotic music will be timed to accompany the pyrotechnics.

Fireworks are fired over Landa Lake and can be viewed throughout Landa Park, the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs and the Fredericksburg baseball fields.

New Braunfels Parks and Recreation Director Stacey Dicke said fireworks can be seen in several other places around the city, including Fischer park.

Residents and visitors are asked to arrive early, expect large crowds, and be mindful of park rules. Bring blankets or chairs. Seating on the golf course begins at 6 p.m.

The event will be broadcast live on KGNB 1420 AM.

Hill Country Fun Fest

Spring Branch Tennis Association hosts the Hill Country Fun Fest from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 3 at Jumbo Evans Sports Park, 101 Jumbo Evans Blvd., Spring Branch.

Fireworks begin around 9:30 p.m.

The event features a fireworks display, live music by John Christopher Way, a kids’ zone, and food and drink booths. Admission fee is $20 per car.

City of Garden Ridge 50th Anniversary

City of Garden Ridge is throwing a birthday party for itself beginning at 6 p.m. Monday, July 4.

A laser light show is planned at the Garden Ridge Municipal Complex, 9400 Municipal Parkway.
