Comal County commissioners want to know what voters think about the future of green spaces — and their price tag.
A Canyon Lake open house on a proposed Parks, Open Space, and Natural Areas Master Plan is scheduled from 5:45-7:45 p.m.Thursday at Tye Preston Memorial Library, 16311 S. Access Rd.
County officials say the plan will help them decide on potential capital expenditures, potential partnerships and management strategies.
Developing a “preferred vision” will help them identify opportunities that exist in the county,.
“Remember, this master plan can only be accomplished through measuring community preferences for parks, natural areas and open space as well as the willingness to pay for those,” county spokesperson Cary Zayas said on Facebook.
