At this time, river access will be restricted until both the level and flow rate recede.📣Park Update as of 4:20 PM on 07/15/2025:
Guadalupe River State Park is currently seeing the results from the rain that was received upstream from us. While expected to be at the crest, the river is just below the Bald Cypress Trail and is flowing roughly around 3000 cfs (cubic feet per second).
At this time, river access will be restricted until both the level and flow rate recede. Additionally, the river access trail within the Wagon Ford Camping Area will be closed.
Once conditions improve, restrictions will be lifted. However, it is still strongly discouraged from entering the river due to water quality and potential debris.
The remaining portion of the day-use area will remain open. Stay safe!
