Guadalupe River State Park is expecting temperatures near or below freezing for extended periods this weekend, with a high potential for wintry precipitation.

For the safety of our visitors and staff, all programs scheduled for this weekend are cancelled.

If you still plan to visit, please come fully prepared. Bring all necessary supplies for day trips or camping in extremely cold conditions.

To prevent critical pipe damage, spigots throughout the park will be left dripping before the freeze sets in — please do not turn them off.

Campers in water/electric sites are strongly encouraged to drip their faucets or disconnect hoses before temperatures drop below freezing.

Please monitor conditions, use caution, and stay safe out there! 🧣🧤
