Welcome to MyCanyonLake.com. We are an online news site covering news, events and the great outdoors

🟣 This morning, Comal County Commissioners Court issued a proclamation recognizing June as Elder Abuse Prevention Month.

Each of us plays a role in protecting older Texans from abuse, neglect, and exploitation. 💜
Want to make a difference? Acts of service—like checking in on an elderly neighbor or volunteering your time—can go a long way in helping older adults stay safe and connected.
Let’s raise awareness together. #ElderAbuseAwarenessMonth #ProtectOurElders #ComalCountyCommunity

🌧️ We’re loving the recent rain — but don’t let it trick you! Bandera, Blanco, Comal, Kendall, and Medina County customers continue to experience severe drought conditions.
💧 That means Stage 4 drought restrictions remain in effect and protecting our water supply is still important. Here’s what you need to know:

🚫 No outdoor watering is allowed
🚫 No variances are granted for new landscaping
✅ Limit all non-essential water use

Even with rainfall, our water systems need time to recover. Let’s do our part to conserve and safeguard our precious water supply.
