Comal County will close its Recycling and Chipping Center’s brush yard on Monday for the mulching process and reopen the site on Jan. 2, 2025. As of Jan. 1, 2025, the recycling center will no longer accept glass. The Startzville recycling site will close on Dec. 24 for the Chrismas holiday.

The Comal County Democratic Party has chartered a bus for residents who wish to attend the April 5 Hands Off Rally in Austin.
Protestors can leave their cars in the Kohl’s parking lot, 1050 S I-35 South Frontage Rd.
