Congratulations to Canyon Lake High School Hawks swimmers Emma Grace Risien and Brett Leone for their outstanding performances at the UIL 4A State Swimming and Diving Championships on Thursday-Friday, Feb.12-13. Emma Grace Risien won gold in the 4A girls 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1:06.91, which is also a girls 4A record! She also finished third in the girls 50-yard freestyle in 24.46. Both are CLHS records!
Brett Leone finished 13th in the state in the 4A boys 500-yard freestyle in 5:20.83, shaving about eight seconds off his best time this season!
Congratulations to Emma Grace and Brett!
