Yeah B.S. I'm not drinking it

On July 4, catastrophic flash floods swept across Central Texas. In the face of rapidly rising waters, Texas Game Wardens answered the call—bringing their unique mix of law enforcement authority and advanced search & rescue training. As part of their efforts:
- 375 Game Wardens deployed
- 475+ specialized assets were utilized (boats, drones, K-9 units & helicopters)
- 33 water rescues & 434 individuals were evacuated
Much of the lifesaving gear used in these missions was made possible by Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation’s Gear Up for Game Wardens program.
“Without Gear Up, we wouldn’t be where we are today. That equipment helped save lives.” — Lt. Matthew Bridgefarmer
