This is the second in a series of panel discussions focusing on the area’s water woes, sponsored by Comal Conservation, League of Women Voters of the Comal Area, and Tye Preston Memorial Library, is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24 at Tye Preston Memorial Library, 16311 S. Access Rd., Canyon Lake.

Speakers include Natalie Ballew, Groundwater Division director for the Texas Water Development Board; Larry Hull, president of the board of directors for the Comal Trinity Groundwater Conservation District; and Roland Ruiz, general manager of the Edwards Aquifer Authority.

Enjoy a day of nature exploration and community science. Open to both seasoned naturalists and those just curious about local wildlife. Focuses primarily on native plant species of Texas and fall migratory species.
