Low Lake Levels Force WORD to Cancel 27th Annual Fun Fish Event for Kids
Water Oriented Recreation District of Comal County (WORD) today canceled its 27th Annual Fun Fish Event for children due to low lake levels. General Manager Mike Dussere said there is not a cove in Canyon Park deep enough to net off a large, fishable area to provide safe lakefront access for fishing.
